Job Description

Key Account Managers are responsible for managing and developing relationships with major multiple accounts, ensuring their needs are met while driving sales growth and maintaining service excellence. They act as the primary point of contact for key retail and multi-site clients, aligning company capabilities with client strategies to deliver long-term, profitable partnerships.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:



Client relationship management:

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting partnerships with major multiple accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.

Managing key accounts:

Act as the main liaison for assigned multiple accounts, handling communication at both head office and regional levels.

Tailored solutions delivery:

Work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and services that meet the strategic needs of multiples.

Account growth & development:

Identify and execute opportunities for account growth, including upselling and cross-selling products and services across multiple sites.

Commercial negotiations:

Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and service levels that balance client needs with company profitability.

Sales target achievement:

Deliver against agreed sales targets and growth objectives within multiple accounts.

Business planning:

Develop and implement joint business plans with key multiples to align objectives, drive sales, and increase market share.

Reporting & forecasting:

Provide regular performance updates, forecasts, and insights to senior management, highlighting successes, risks, and opportunities.

Client feedback management:

Gather and analyse client feedback to inform service improvements and strengthen relationships.

Problem resolution:

Manage escalated issues, ensuring quick and effective solutions that protect and enhance client relationships.

Market & competitor analysis:

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

Project management:

Oversee the delivery of key projects and initiatives across multiple accounts, ensuring deadlines and expectations are met.

Cross-functional collaboration:

Work with supply chain, operations, and marketing teams to deliver seamless service and maximise client value.

Promote company offering:

Actively promote the company's full range of products and services to drive penetration within multiple accounts.

Process improvement:

Suggest and support process improvements to optimise account management practices, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 30,000.00 per year
