With sales in excess of 90m across 30+ sites and a team of 450+ people, LBS Builders Merchants, South Wales' largest independent builders' merchant is looking to expand its Public Sector team.



We are looking for someone that:


Has a proven track record within the Public Sector field with a clear understanding of sector language, bid process and future industry requirements. This could come from a Manufacturing/Merchant Sales or Procurement role within the sector. Bid writing experience would be advantageous, as would knowledge of WHQS and The Wellbeing of Future Generations Act. Can build and maintain productive relationships with customers/ local authorities/ suppliers / branch network. Confidently communicate and negotiate with Key Stakeholders in Regional and National Contractors. Demonstrates a real passion for outstanding customer service through high customer visibility and facilitating commercial partnerships

Hours of work: Monday to Friday between 8:00am - 4.30p.m. (On average 38.75hrs per week)
