About the role:




As a Key Worker, you will be responsible for supporting a caseload of individuals to overcome various personal barriers and progress towards employment. You will build and maintain relationships with local community organisations, providers, DWP, local authorities and employers across the area


Examples of some of the requirements may include (though not limited to); engagement to build a caseload in a new delivery area for Triage, completing a full assessment for the individuals on the caseload to identify and implement tailored support needs. This will be conducted through various diagnostic assessments, to identify their aspirations, learning needs, experiences and skills to build a holistic picture and inform practical job finding to ensure a high-quality job match. You will also implement and oversee personalised action plans, providing guidance and support to reach their goals.


This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a passion for training and supporting those with multiple complex needs and to adapt your training/delivery methods to meet the diverse needs of individuals.

Required criteria:



A minimum of 2 years' experience supporting individuals with disabilities, and/or complex needs. Proven experience in providing support, where all individuals have different learning needs and with a dynamic and creative approach. Proven experience in delivering soft skills and employability skills to aide a personalised approach for individuals to progress. Proven experience in the use of assessment tools such as vocational profiling to identify support needs and inform practical job finding. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with participants from diverse backgrounds. Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and adapt training strategies to meet individual needs and change mindsets. Comfortable using instructional technology tools and resources to enhance language instruction and engage learners in digital learning environments. Ability to evaluate individual progress toward their goals, adjusting support strategies as needed. Evidence of attributes such as challenge and resilience, flexibility and adaptability, honesty and integrity, impactful communication, planning and decision making, and promoting services. Ability to positively challenge others. Strong written and verbal communication skills, accomplished networking skills, organisational and time management skills with the ability to build professional relationships effectively. Experience of working in a performance target driven environment. Driver with access to vehicle and business car insurance.

Experience creating engaging and interactive sessions that align with the individuals' goals, incorporating a variety of materials, resources, and activities. Experience of working in recruitment, publicly funded services, or other similar sectors Previous work with diverse populations Other desirable criteria including pre-existing network of organisations in the local area; the ability to use qualitative mechanisms to deliver continuous improvement to service delivery; a pro-active 'can-do' attitude; a track record of driving positive change and the ability to work under own initiative and think outside the box.

Training and Delivery



Conduct initial assessments to determine participant's starting levels and identify areas for improvement. Regularly evaluate individuals progress and adjust delivery strategies accordingly. Effectively manage a caseload of participants, being able to adapt to various learning styles, at different stages. Full responsibility of delivering innovative support solutions, based on local priorities and contractual requirements. Feedback on support materials, identifying new and creative ways to engage participation. A commitment to continuous professional growth and staying updated on delivery methodologies, resources, and technology. Apply new knowledge and techniques to improve delivery effectiveness.

Relationship Managem

ent



Build and maintain relationships with varying organisations to promote the support available through the programme and maximise repeat referrals in line with the Key Performance Indicators (KPI's). To identify opportunities that match the caseload requirements and capabilities, through community-based support groups. Promote and create an awareness of the entire range of Triage services including work experience/trial opportunities, vocational and accredited training as well as support filling vacancies. Represents Triage at external meetings to keep abreast of opportunities in the area and maintain links with other providers and partner organisations.
