Do you have a passion for working with children? Are you able to plan and organise kid's classes? Delivering great, fun filled classes for children between 2 and 14 years old, helping children fall in love with exercise and lead healthier lives.

What's it all about?



For this role you will need to be fun and bubbly, entertaining, enthusiastic, and passionate about delivering a creative and engaging classes for children.

You must have good communication and interpersonal skills to deal with both children and families and ensure you are meeting the members' expectations as well as upholding the club's values.

You will be responsible for planning a variety of classes for different age groups - from toddlers up to pre-teens.

Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential - Full training will be provided over a weekend prior to you starting your role to give you all the tools you need to be successful

This position will also require an enhanced DBS check. Pay dependent on age.

Kids classes will be delivered at varying times through the week with the majority after school and Saturday morning.

JOB PURPOSE:



To ensure the effective delivery of our Total Fitness Kids Classes timetable, making certain that all children attending receive optimal care at all times, with a focus on a safe and secure environment delivered through a structured, well-balanced programme.

What does the role involve?



Plan fun and creative classes effectively using the provided training/equipment for children aged between 2-14 Create and design classed that inspire children and young people to develop and lead healthy active lifestyles Ensure members receive the best possible service in line with company service standards Ensure the delivery of programmes, activities and tasks is efficient and effective Ensure children and young people are kept safe at all times Seek out opportunities to increase number of children attending the classes

Fun and bubbly to ensure that members and kids are fully entertained To have excellent communication skills and be confident in leading groups of children safely Possess a passion for physical activity and encourage others to lead a healthy active lifestyle Be able to plan and deliver fun and creative sessions so that children feel enthused to attend Be organised and able to work effectively in teams and as an individual, always maintaining a professional approach to work Have some experience in a similar role working with children Have an enthusiastic attitude to life and work Have the ability to make kids' exercise fun A role model who lives and breathes our Total Fitness Values daily This role is subject to a DBS check

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
