Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kids Club Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children while their parents participate in activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for childcare, ensuring that every child has a positive experience.

Duties



Supervise and engage with children in the Kids Club, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's experiences and any concerns that may arise. Manage the daily operations of the Kids Club, including maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the space. Drive initiatives to enhance the Kids Club experience, fostering an inclusive atmosphere for all children. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and club activities. Maintain accurate records of attendance and incidents as required.

Qualifications



Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a knack for managing groups of children effectively. A genuine passion for working with children and creating a positive environment. Knowledge of nursery practices and early childhood development principles is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
