WE NEED YOU!!!
Kaleidoscope Care Ltd (Sleaford Kids Club) are seeking a caring, creative and enthusiastic staff member to join the team at our popular before and after-school club which has been running on site at The William Alvey School since 2016.
At Kaleidoscope Care Ltd we are committed to providing fun and exciting activities both indoors and outdoors and creating a relaxed atmosphere where children can enjoy themselves after their busy day at school. An essential part of the successful candidate's role will be to build strong relationships with children, their parents and families, respect confidentiality and help to support the close links we have with the school. that all children's learning and development are supported as well as their holistic needs.
We feel that right staff members are the best resource the club and the children can have! We are looking for a candidate who has the following skills and experience to add to our team:
Be in tune with children and families (with the qualities of a Mary or Mark Poppins!) being passionate about childcare and promoting the safety and wellbeing of all children.
Be creative, enthusiastic and spontaneous, providing activities which can be adapted for the needs of every child (a bonus would be having Super Sporting Abilities, or have the willingness to get stuck in and have a go!)
Develop strong trusting relationships with parents and carers, be approachable and listen to parents and children should they need to talk to you about any concerns they have.
Work as part of a team and as well as on own initiative, be open to new ideas (being a Multi-Tasking Wizard would help!)
The ability to look composed even when all around you is hectic!
Can prepare basic foods for large amounts of children when the resident chef is away or if it's your turn (don't worry, full training will be given!)
Be friendly and fun even in the face of adversity and be ready to become part our long-established Kids Club Team. We recognise everyone has their own unique qualities to offer (including being chatty - this is an area some of our team are very well qualified in!)
We look forward to hearing from candidates who like a challenge and are passionate about striving towards providing the very best opportunities for all children.
All candidates are required to have an Enhanced DBS and good references prior to commencement of employment. A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare is desired but not essential depending on experience
