Job Summary
Lakeview Farm Meats is an Abattoir and wholesaler. Providing beef and lamb products to butchers across Northern Ireland.
We are seeking a skilled Kill Floor Operative to join the team in our busy factory based in Crumlin, Co. Antrim. Killing five days per week with the occasional Friday with no kill. Experience working on a kill floor is required. This role is essential in the food production process, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. You will be required to use sharp tools such as saws and knives.
No specific qualifications required.
Working hours are Monday to Friday. 35.7 hours per week. 7 am starts.
Hourly rate starts at 13.00. This will vary with level of experience.
Responsibilities
safely and efficiently following the line to process each animal to a high standard using machinery, equipment and knife skills remove contamination and defects from the carcass maintain a sharp and sterile knife movement of the product around the department
