Job Description

Denbies Wine Estate, one of England largest vineyards is currently recruiting for an experienced Kitchen Administrator to join our kitchens team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in fast-growing location and with a very motivated and passionate team. You will be providing administrative support to our Executive Head Chef and Senior kitchen team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day to day running of all our kitchens.

Key Responsibilities:



Maintain kitchen schedules, staff rotas, and timesheets Manage stock control, order supplies, and liaise with vendors Ensure health and safety and hygiene records are up-to-date Assist in budget tracking and cost control Coordinate kitchen maintenance and equipment servicing Provide administrative support to the Executive Head Chef and Senior kitchen team Handle communication between the kitchen and other departments Maintain up-to-date records of compliance documentation (e.g., food safety certifications) Assist with HR- related tasks such as onboarding and new starter processes.

Requirements:



Proven experience in an administrative or kitchen support role Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Proficiency in MS Office and scheduling software Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Culinary experience is required, as you will also be required to assist the kitchen operation.
This is a Full-Time position working five days out of seven, including weekends, and occasional evenings.
