We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role involves assisting with food preparation, maintaining high standards of food safety, and delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble food items in accordance with company standards and recipes Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the counter or via table service Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas throughout shifts Assist with stock rotation, inventory checks, and replenishing supplies as needed Handle cash transactions accurately using basic maths skills Manage time effectively to ensure orders are completed promptly during busy periods Support team members in various tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Skills

Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation is advantageous but not essential Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment Competence in food preparation techniques relevant to the role Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients Excellent time management to prioritise tasks during busy periods Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-12.25 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Work Location: In person
