Insignia Kitchens and Bedrooms Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced Designer / Sales consultant to work in their Preston based showroom.

We are an independent company, established in 2008, offering bespoke kitchens in both classic and contemporary styles as well as a range of fitted bedrooms and supplementary interior furniture.

We pride ourselves on building positive relationships with our clients, creating beautiful designs, providing superior quality products and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

Primarily you will meet and liaise with clients in the showroom to understand their requirements before creating beautiful designs using CAD software. You will present the designs to the clients, advise and guide them through their product choices, formulate quotations and ultimately secure their instruction for the project. As the key contact you will assist the team to manage each customer's project through to completion, dealing with any ongoing queries and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be required to carry out surveys at client's homes to establish the brief / take measurements etc.

About you

In line with the ethos of the company, you must be primarily customer focused with great communication skills, have an eye for design and detail, and most importantly....care! Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years experience in the kitchen industry. Knowledge of Articad / ArtiVR design software is advantageous, however full training will be provided on all our systems, products and processes. A full driving licence and own vehicle is required to conduct surveys at client's homes.

What's on offer

A full-time permanent employed position, although part time hours will also be seriously considered. The working hours are Monday to Thursday plus Saturdays. We try to achieve a good work / life balance and therefore we don't open on Fridays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.*
