Job Overview:
We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team in a busy residential home setting. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of food preparation and service.

Duties:
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes
- Help with food preparation tasks, such as marinating meat, mixing sauces, and baking goods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
- Support the kitchen team during peak hours by ensuring timely delivery of food items and assisting with plating
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist with catering orders and special events as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential
- A passion for food and an interest in culinary arts
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
