We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team in the role of Kitchen assistant with some bank cook shifts . This position involves preparing and cooking food, ensuring high standards of food safety, and delivering excellent service to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in culinary arts, with experience in food preparation and restaurant environments. Responsibilities

Preparing ingredients and cooking dishes according to specified recipes and standards Assisting with meal preparation and presentation to ensure quality and consistency Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations Ensuring all food safety protocols are adhered to at all times Supporting team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow Assisting with stock rotation, inventory checks, and ordering supplies as needed

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a culinary environment is preferred Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food safety standards is advantageous Experience working in a catering setting is desirable Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and presentation skills is beneficial Prior experience in serving or customer service roles will be considered an asset
