Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant to join our team.
Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and utensils. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Support chefs during service by preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking as required. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Help with stock rotation and inventory management to minimise waste. Assist in maintaining a safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills would be advantageous. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
Work Location: In person
