We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including washing, chopping, and measuring. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all surfaces are sanitised. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met. Support chefs during busy service periods by helping with meal assembly and plating. Help with catering events as required, ensuring all food is prepared to specification. Participate in stock management by assisting with inventory checks and reporting shortages. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment or catering setting is advantageous but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. A genuine interest in culinary arts and meal preparation is important. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a willingness to help others within the team.
