Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Responsibilities

Prepare the kitchen and stock for service in evenings, help cook the dishes during service time. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen by washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Support chefs and cooks in various tasks as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and keeping track of ingredients.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary terminology is beneficial. A basic understanding of food safety practices is preferred. A willingness to learn and develop culinary skills in a supportive team setting.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
