We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team. Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation and food preparation tasks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Support chefs and cooks during service by preparing and assisting in plating dishes. Help with the cleaning of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain hygiene standards. Participate in inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to the kitchen manager. Assist in serving meals to customers or guests as required, ensuring a high standard of presentation. Follow all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.

Requirements

Previous kitchen experience or culinary experience is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable. Experience in catering or restaurant settings will be an advantage. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential for this role. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques in meal preparation.
