Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation, safety, and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment. The Kitchen Assistant will play a vital role in assisting with meal preparation, food safety compliance, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation and food assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards Support chefs and kitchen staff in daily food production activities Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing utensils, equipment, and work surfaces Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times Help with the storage of ingredients and supplies, including proper labelling and stock rotation Serve food to customers or staff as required, ensuring presentation standards are met Assist in setting up dining areas for service and clearing after meals Support catering events by preparing ingredients and assisting with serving duties when needed Shift are from 9;30 till 19;30 and from January 9am till7pm

Experience

Previous experience in a catering or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen safety procedures is advantageous Experience with meal preparation, food safety standards, and serving will be considered beneficial A keen interest in culinary arts or hospitality is preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
