Kitchen Assistant - Bank

Location: Glenholme Wendreth Court, March, PE15 8QT


Pay Rate: 12.30 per hour



As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be assisting our Chef in carrying out all delegated tasks in all areas of the kitchen's responsibility and maintaining a very high standard of hygiene and dress.

Main Duties And Responsibilities as a Kitchen Assistant:

To ensure that all areas of the kitchen are clean and tidy at all times.
To ensure that all equipment is thoroughly washed.

To ensure that the best economic use is made of material issued to you.

To report all defects, damage, and breakages to the chef/assistant cook.

To assist in the day-to-day operations of kitchen duties.

To assist with the preparation of vegetables, sandwiches etc.

To ensure the kitchen and ancillary rooms are cleaned thoroughly as per the cleaning schedule.

To work at times in other areas other than your normal place of employment as required.

At all times your uniform is to be clean and well-ironed and well-presented.
