We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Duties

Assist in meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of chefs or kitchen supervisors. Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring as required for various dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Support catering events by assisting in the setup and serving of food as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods. Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and reporting shortages to supervisors.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment, such as catering or restaurant experience, is highly desirable. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food safety practices is essential. Culinary experience or relevant qualifications will be considered an advantage. A strong willingness to learn and develop culinary skills is important for success in this role.
