Job Description

Ashgate House provides nursing and residential care services for 47 residents with late-stage dementia and associated complex care needs. We are recruiting a caring and motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our dedicated team.

The role includes'; following good house keeping, kitchen cleaning and supporting the cook with food preparation and meal service. Good documentation of food temperatures, cleaning undertaken and other kitchen check requirements. undertaking meal service and supporting the cook to prepare adapted and dietary specific meals following a menu.

Essentials

Previous experience of working in a similar environment
Excellent communication skills
Provide high levels of cleanliness within our home
Well motivated
Enthusiastic
To be able to work alternating weekends
Good sense of humour

Desirable

DBS on the update service
Experience of working in a Nursing Home setting
