Job Description

Clarence House Day Nurseries Ltd, a group of children's day nurseries in East Anglia, is looking for an experienced Kitchen Assistant to work in our nursery in Sleaford.

You will be working 15 hours a week, 11am - 2pm Monday to Friday, term-time only.

Your rate of pay will be from 12.21 an hour.

Duties and responsibilities:

Preparation of food to include cooking meals and preparing fruit, vegetables and desserts as directed by the Nursery Manager. Unloading deliveries and suppliers and organizing the storeroom as directed. Collecting, cleaning and storing the crockery, pots, pans and cutlery using the nursery dishwasher. Daily cleaning of kitchen surfaces including the cooker and microwave, sweeping and mopping floor. Undertaking such other duties and responsibilities as determined from time to time by the Nursery Manager

We're looking for a person who is self-motivated, passionate and a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.

In addition you should hold or willing to complete suitable qualifications in Food Hygiene and preparation.
