We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Duties
Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
Support cooks with tasks, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Assist in inventory management by helping to receive deliveries and store food items appropriately.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
Familiarity with catering settings will be advantageous.
Basic knowledge of food safety practices is required; culinary experience is a plus.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
