Job Title: Kitchen Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Washing up and loading dishwasher
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and prep area
- Stock and replenish inventory as needed
- Assist Chef with food preparation, such as chopping vegetables or assembling sandwiches and assisting Chef during busy breakfast and lunch sessions as directed by the Chef or Owner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Other duties in the kitchen and cafe as required
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
