Job Summary:  
 To assist in the preparation of meals and snacks under the direction of the Chef.
 To serve and deliver meals to residents.
 To undertake dishwashing, pot-washing and cleaning of kitchen and pantry areas.
 To complete relevant documentation, such as daily cleaning schedules.
To work as part of a team to deliver all meals and snacks to residents.
Duties:  
 Under the supervision of the Chef, assisting in identifying items to be ordered from specified suppliers to ensure sufficient supplies to maintain the catering operation
 Ensuring required equipment is used with care, in accordance with suppliers' instructions and training
 Ensuring all required equipment is in good working order and, where a fault is identified, reporting the issue and withdrawing the equipment from further use immediately
 Preparing food items under the guidance and instructions of the Chef
 Supporting the delivery and serving of food, if required
 Undertaking dishwashing, pot-washing and cleaning of the kitchen and pantry areas
 Understanding the specific diets identified as required by residents, and share any dietary concerns with the Chef
 Taking responsibility for understanding health and safety requirements
 Being clean, hygienic and well presented at all times
 Reporting any incidents or accidents to the Chef, and making an appropriate record
Promoting and protecting the welfare of residents at all times
Pay: 12.21 per hour
