Job Description
Immediate vacancy for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at our beautiful care home with modern kitchen in Hamilton , Scotland.
This Kitchen Assistant for 36 hours per week.
REPORTING TO: HEAD CHEF/MANAGER
JOB PURPOSE: SUPPORT THE CHEF IN SPECIFIC WORK Section
REQUIRED
Carry out tasks quickly and competently. Follow instructions Use own initiative and work in a team Follow instructions Energy and enthusiasm
DESIRED
Care for the Elderly experience Highly organized Food hygiene qualification (training will be given)
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparation of basic food Unloading deliveries and suppliers Organizing the store room Washing kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls Help chefs get ready for serving food to the service users General prep needed for a meal
