9125We are a friendly, welcoming school seeking to appoint a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support the delivery of our school meals service. The role is 12.5 hours per week, term time only. Exact working hours will be discussed and agreed at appointment, in line with the school's lunchtime service needs.
Main job purpose:
Support the preparation and service of school meals as part of a small, supportive kitchen team. Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health and safety within the kitchen and dining areas. Assist with routine kitchen tasks including food preparation, serving, washing up, cleaning surfaces and equipment, and waste disposal. * Follow agreed procedures, menus and schedules to ensure a smooth and timely lunch service.
