Ashbridge Independent School and Nursery is looking for an

experienced

and organized Kitchen Assistant to join our established catering team working alongside the Nursery Chef at Ashbridge Independent School and Nursery. If you want to make a positive impact on children's approach to food and healthy eating please read on! Catering experience is required, as is a positive attitude and good communication skills.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Ashbridge is looking to recruit high quality, experienced and organised Kitchen Assistant to be a part of our talented, high quality, dynamic team.

Skills and qualities that the successful candidate will have;

1 year experience of working in a catering setting Knowledge of handling allergy and dietary needs Organisational skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal The ability to work as part of a team, and under your own initiative To be able to lead the team during Chef absence A good understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene Food Safety level 2 training desirable, but not essential A Catering qualification if desirable, but not essential

TIMING

Monday and Friday - 9 am - 5 pm - 37.5 hours per week with a 30 minute lunch break
