An award winning Indian restaurant, with 4 branches between Manchester,Leeds and Liverpool. We are looking an Kitchen Assistant to join us here at Indian Tiffin Room, Leeds, LS15JD. The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, creative and hard working with a real flair and passion for serving high quality food in a fast paced and fun environment.

As a Kitchen Assistant you'll be behind the scenes, and helping delivering our food.

You'll take pride in your work and support the Head Chef in delivering an excellent experience to our guests.

You'll be a perfectionist when it comes to the preparation of food as well as maintaining excellent hygiene and safety standards.

Duties:
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and cutting ingredients
- Assist in cooking and baking tasks as directed by the chef or kitchen supervisor
- Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, equipment, and work areas
- Set up and break down catering stations for events
- Follow all health and safety guidelines in the kitchen

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
