We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant Manager to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional food experiences. Duties



Supervise daily kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, to ensure consistency and quality. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimising waste to optimise food costs. Oversee POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling procedures. Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff on food safety practices, culinary techniques, and customer service standards. Coordinate shift management, ensuring smooth operations during busy hours while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Assist in budgeting efforts by controlling labour costs and managing food production expenses effectively. Support catering, banquet, and special event preparations to uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence in diverse dining experiences.

Experience



Proven management experience within a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with a focus on kitchen operations. Extensive culinary experience with skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety protocols. Demonstrated supervising experience with a track record of leading teams in hospitality or restaurant settings. Familiarity with restaurant management systems for efficient order processing. Background in food service management, including inventory control, budgeting, and staff training & development. Experience working in casual dining or fine dining establishments with a strong emphasis on customer service excellence. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food safety, sanitation standards, and kitchen hygiene practices.
