Kitchen Assistant (maternity Cover)
Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at one of our workplace restaurants in Sheffield S9 1DZ.
This is a Maternity-Cover contract with a proposed start date of 17th November 2025, ending in July 2026. This is a Monday to Friday position, working 6:45am to 2:45pm.

We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.
We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to assist our Chef Manager in delivering a world-class breakfast service and global-inspired lunch menus. From baking cakes and preparing fresh salads to helping design creative counter displays, you'll play a key role in bringing flavours from every corner of the globe to our guests. If you're passionate about food, eager to learn, and ready for variety, we'd love to have you on board!
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Have experience working in a similar role and environment Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy Have excellent customer service and social skills Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 2 Be customer focused Have basic food knowledge Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
