We currently have a position for a Full time (36/45hrs) Kitchen Assistant to join our team. Our kitchen currently operates between 07.30 & 19.30 and we have a range of flexible hours with the added bonus of no late nights We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic person who will be responsible for Supporting the Chefs/cook in the serving and provision of high-quality meals that meet the nutritional and dietary requirements of our Residents. Would suit candidate who is interested in a career in catering, who wants the ability to progress in a position with on the job training. Possibility of enrolling in a local college with support from the home.

To take responsibility for day to day cleaning tasks/washing up and general cleanliness of the kitchen on a daily basis would suit someone looking to start a career in the kitchen with potential to move up to a chef/cook position Training available.

Purpose of position

Under the general supervision of the manager and Chef/cook, to provide an efficient and effective kitchen cleaning/wash up service for Engleburn, ensuring a high standard of kitchen cleaning is delivered and maintained meeting Management & clients expectations.

Job Overview

undertake cleaning/wash up tasks to ensure a comprehensive cleaning service is provided in compliance with CQC procedures and practices and Health & Safety Regulations
