Salary:

12.60 per hour (9,828.00 per annum)

Working in our residential and nursing home for older people in Newcastle.

Hours:

15 hours per week

The role

St Catherine's is a purpose-built nursing home set in private grounds on the West Road in Newcastle upon Tyne. We are looking for a part time Kitchen Assistant to join the team.

The successful candidate will:

Assist the chef in preparing & cooking, balanced and nutritious meals. Carry out food preparation for all meals and refreshment services. Cater for all special dietary needs of residents in line with their care plans. Organise storerooms and ensure stock rotation Ensure all equipment is kept clean. Carry out good food management and temperature controls in line with food safety documentation.
