We are currently looking to recruit a Full Time Kitchen Assistant within our Kitchen Team.

The Role:



To give support assistance to the Kitchen Supervisor / Catering Manager in the provision of a nutritious and valued choice of diet for residents, and where applicable - staff and visitors. To work as part of the Kitchen Staff team

Assist in the preparation of food for Residents Adhering strictly to hygiene standards and health & safety requirements Assist in the presentation and serving of food to Residents Deliver up to date resident special diet requirements as required Ensure the highest standard of cleanliness in the kitchen is maintained at all times, Use of commercial kitchen equipment provided in a manner to ensure safe practice Stock & prepare Unit Servery kitchens with appropriate foodstuff's and utensils Inform Kitchen management of low stock on occurrence When appropriate, develop cooking skills under supervision with Kitchen management Show professional courtesy at all times on interaction with Residents, Staff and Visitors Other duties as necessary directed by the Kitchen Supervisor / Catering Manager Shifts will include: Weekdays, Weekends & Holiday periods as required

Training:

Full training will be provided to applicants with Limited or no experience in the Catering Industry.

Available Contract:



36 hours per week
