An iconic pub space in Nottingham City Centre, just a stone's throw away from Nottingham Castle. Independently owned and operated by a duo of passionate publicans, we're a stylish yet inclusive free-of-tie establishment, catering to a diverse clientele. Our customers will expect to join us for exceptional service, a wide curated selection of drinks, and delicious pub-classic food and a variety of sharer dishes, as we build upon Nottingham's bustling City Centre pub scene.

The Roundhouse Bar & Kitchen is seeking a part-time kitchen porter to join our kitchen team. As kitchen porter, you will be supporting chef(s) in peak times of service, ensuring a seamless culinary experience for our valued customers. Key Responsibilities

:

Keep the kitchen clean and tidy all shift, ensuring utensils and plates/bowls are clean and ready to be used as and when required. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to our menu standards and maintaining consistency for our customers, with support and guidance from the chef on shift. Coordinate and prepare food stock for preparation and assist the chef in reporting ordering requirements to management to ensure availability of ingredients and minimise wastage. Ensure 100% adherence to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Requirements

:

A keenness to develop a career in a kitchen role. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Organisational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
