Job Description

We are currently seeking Kitchen Assistants to support catering teams within care environments. This role involves assisting with meal preparation, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and ensuring residents receive nutritious food in a safe and welcoming setting.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with preparing and serving meals Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment Follow food hygiene and safety guidelines Support chefs and other catering staff as needed Assist with stock rotation and waste management Help meet residents' dietary requirements

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or care setting is helpful but not essential Basic understanding of food hygiene standards Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and professional

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
