We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our team. The Kitchen Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring that our chefs can focus on delivering exceptional dishes. Duties

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas. Wash, dry, and store kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and equipment. Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients. Help organise and maintain stock levels of kitchen supplies. Support chefs during busy service periods by ensuring a steady flow of clean equipment and utensils. Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure recycling protocols are followed. Assist in maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is preferred. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop culinary skills. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A keen interest in the culinary arts and hospitality industry.
We are not looking for students, we are looking for a dedicated person who has already experienced the role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.35-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
