Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Porter or Kitchen Assistant to join our fun team here at Copper Still Bar & Restaurant on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. You will will be working in a busy kitchen and you will receive great tips as part of the tronc system.

You will be working working closely with the kitchen team and you will be joining one of Edinburgh's leading independent hospitality companies with opportunities in career development.

Great package starting at 12.21 - 13.00 ph and good tronc tips

Your duties will be:

Washing cutlery, utensils, and cookware so the kitchen staff has constant access. Carrying out basic cleaning tasks as fast as possible. Collecting and washing up pots and pans. Cleaning crockery & cutlery. Making sure work surfaces, floors and walls are always clean and sanitised. Fast learners that are interested in working in a kitchen. The ability to adhere to health and safety rules. Teamwork skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The capacity to work as part of a team.
