Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant. In this role, you will be supporting the preparation of a variety of dishes for children 5 years of age and under.
Responsibilities
Preparing food while adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Work with team members to ensure the dietary requirements for all children are catered for Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations - however training will be given Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills
The setting will provide the opportunity to complete Level 2 in Food Safety and Level 2 Food allergy awareness training.
It will be an requirement to have an enhanced DBS carried out
Hours will be between 8.45 am and 2.45 pm 5 days a week (there would also be an option of further hours)
The setting is closed for two weeks in the summer, a week at Christmas and a week at Easter
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to 13.02 per hour
Work Location: In person
