The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our busy restaurant hot food counter. If you're passionate about food preparation, customer service, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

The days and hours of work

7.30am to 4.00pm Saturday and Sunday

We can be flexible with start times but no later than 8.45am.

We can also offer this as a Saturday or Sunday job share.

Responsibilities

Assisting the kitchen team in food preparation Serving breakfast and lunch, reading the orders from tickets Helg to run food between sections Assisting on sections to get customer orders ready Assisting with the management of health and safety. Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices. Monitoring portion and waste control. Temperature taking and recording. Keeping section and equipment clean and tidy. The ideal candidate will have

A keen interest in working within a catering or kitchen environment. A strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and hygiene. Plenty of energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility and a positive, team-focused attitude. Excellent listening skills and the ability to follow instructions. A high level of attention to detail. A keenness to learn and develop your skills

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
