Are you passionate about food and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment? We're looking for a Kitchen Assistants to join our dynamic team and help deliver high-quality meals to our customers.

You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the kitchen. Including our streamlined way of delivering food to the residents. The ideal candidate should be passionate about food preparation, possess strong organisational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and disposing of waste. Plating dishes and ensuring they meet quality standards. Assist with necessary food orders from Apetito and other suppliers Stock and maintain inventory of food and kitchen supplies. Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of perishable items. Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient workflow and timely service. Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines. Assist in other tasks as needed to support the overall operation of the kitchen.

Requirements:

Prior experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment. Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from supervisors. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects. Food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
