We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Duties

Assist in the preparation of meals and ingredients, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards. Support chefs with cooking tasks as required, demonstrating a willingness to learn and develop culinary skills. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste appropriately. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Help with serving meals during busy periods, providing excellent customer service to guests. Participate in stock management by assisting with inventory checks and reporting any shortages to senior staff.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous, particularly within catering or restaurant settings. Familiarity with meal preparation and food safety practices is essential. A background in culinary arts or related fields would be beneficial but is not mandatory. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
