Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Help with catering events by preparing and serving dishes as required. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly. Assist with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages. Follow instructions from chefs and kitchen supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, including roles in catering or restaurants. Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food safety regulations is essential. Culinary experience or relevant qualifications would be advantageous but not mandatory. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure are crucial for success in this role. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are necessary for collaborating effectively with kitchen staff.
