Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation and food preparation tasks as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen. Support the culinary team by ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service. Help with serving meals during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery to customers. Clean and organise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to maintain a tidy workspace. Follow instructions for cooking techniques and presentation as per the chef's guidance. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a catering or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques. Understanding of food safety regulations and practices. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. A genuine interest in culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills. Kitchen experience is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
