Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a desire to learn and grow within the food industry. This role is essential in supporting our kitchen staff in meal preparation, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed Support chefs with cooking tasks Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing work areas Handle food safely and follow all food safety regulations Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen environment or food service is preferred Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
