We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that food preparation and meal preparation processes run smoothly. Duties

Assist with food preparation and meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are ready for cooking. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Support cook & chef by performing various tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes. Help with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen equipment and utensils to ensure a tidy workspace. Assist in catering events as required, contributing to the overall success of the service. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is advantageous but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is preferred. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A genuine interest in culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills. Flexibility to assist with various tasks as needed within the kitchen.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
