We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant and Bar Staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and Drink and a desire to support the kitchen and Bar staff in delivering high-quality meals and drinks, assisting with meal preparation, maintaining food safety standards and serving drinks to customers.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking and meal assembly.
Assist in the Bar serving drinks as required
Support chefs with cooking tasks, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Help with catering events by preparing and serving food as required.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods.
Participate in inventory management by assisting in stock rotation and reporting shortages.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen environment, bar/pub or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
Experience in meal preparation and food preparation techniques is advantageous but not required.
Training will be given.
A background in catering or culinary arts would be beneficial but not mandatory.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
