We're looking for a

dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Chef

to join our friendly nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a kitchen environment and is excited about making a positive difference in children's early years.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting the Chef in preparing

wholesome, nutritious meals

in line with nutritional guidance. Assisting with

daily food preparation

, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen. Covering for the Chef during absences, ensuring children continue to receive high-quality meals. Carrying out

general housekeeping duties

and helping with lunch service across the nursery. Working closely with the team to uphold our

high standards of hygiene and food safety

.

with a positive, can-do attitude. Someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment. Experience in a kitchen setting is desirable, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important! A good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
