We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and safety, along with excellent leadership and team management skills. As an Assistant Chef, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, assisting the Head Chef in food production, and maintaining high standards of hospitality.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking.
Ensure efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests.
Requirements
Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably as a Chef or similar position.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
A passion for hospitality and delivering high-quality service.
