Duties

Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards Assist in food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management Follow hygiene protocols diligently, including proper storage of ingredients and waste disposal Support team members during busy service periods, ensuring timely meal delivery Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times, including safe handling of kitchen equipment

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a related culinary role Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation Previous restaurant or catering experience is advantageous Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
