Kitchen Assistant/Cook required

16-20 hours per week. Part Time

Day, Evenings & Weekends required

Flexible working days

Minimum of 1 year kitchen experience

Hourly rate based on experience 10.00-12.21ph

We are looking for an experienced cook/chef to join our here at Cheshire Cheese, Buxton, Titanic Brewery.

Main roles included:-

Kitchen Assistant roles include pot washing, assisting chefs in the kitchen with preparation and learning the roles of chef/cook to continue with the responsibilities below Batch cooking following recipe and spec guidelines Preparation & Cooking of all food to a high standard & presentation of food Ensuring kitchen cleanliness is kept at a high standard every day Working on you own initiative Working as a part of a team and doing all duties in the kitchen from pot wash to leading the pass High standard of time keeping & communication skills Understanding of Food Hygiene along with Health & Safety. Training will be provided through our online training portal CPL Allergen awareness (Natasha's Law) with training given through our online training portal CPL Using own skills to create specials.
